I am Sarah. It’s nice to meet you. If I already know you, it’s nice to see you here.
This is my blog. I really love to write, and this is where I do some of that. I write about the things that are important to me, namely my faith, parenting, marriage, and heart matters. I’ll also write about any old thing that provokes me to think deeply or makes me smile.
So who am I? I am first and foremost a daughter of the Most High God. That makes me a princess. (Funny, because my name means “princess” in Hebrew. SO not a coincidence. 🙂 ) I am not only His daughter, but I am a saved, healed and delivered daughter. There was a time when I wasn’t those things, and even though I am now, I still make lots of mistakes. 🙂 Consequently, I have a big heart for other people (especially other women) who struggle with things like I have. I know what it’s like to have a damaged heart, and my most favourite thing is telling people how Jesus wants to heal that heart, and how he healed mine. I’ve been there, and let me tell you, life is awesome on the other end of it. Be encouraged! I still have struggles, I still have obstacles that I face in my life (turns out, Paul was right!). But Jesus is with me, helping me everyday, and God has used everything I have gone through (and will go through in the future) for my betterment. He’s good like that. He wants to be good like that to you too.
I am a wife to my awesome husband who is an amazing man of God. We’ve been married nearly 10 years. Wowza! I am a mother to 3 beautiful little ones – 2 boys and 1 girl. I am a runner, a writer, a reader, a knitter. I love yard work, interior decorating, being crafty (but in a power tools, wood, tile, and paint kind of way), bike-riding, playing lego, and having long baths. I am interested in natural birth and empowering women around me to believe for good things in pregnancy and childbirth. I also love sharing my love of running with anyone who will listen. And lastly, I love to grow and change and become more like Jesus everyday, and I love showing him to those around me. Oh, and I also really, really like to laugh and have fun. After all, what is life without peace and joy?!
Thanks for joining me. I’m glad you’re here.
